2022 Rotary District 6200 Conference
April 21 – 23, 2022
HOUMA, LOUISIANA
The 2022 Rotary District 6200 Conference in Houma is just a few weeks away and the excitement is building. PDG Yvonne Normand and her Opelousas Team did an awesome job last year in bringing our club members together despite certain “restrictions”. With fewer pandemic guidelines in place, we hope that the upcoming conference will allow even more Rotarians to come together to join old friends and to meet the new Rotarians who may have never attended a district conference. DG Mark Lee is working hard on a list of informative and entertaining speakers to make us all remember why we joined Rotary in the first place. Our Planning Committee is working on all the fun stuff. Thanks to the Houma Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, the conference guest speaker will be world renown Chef John Folse who will talk about the history of food in Louisiana – where did it originate. The Food Fest will be an opportunity for area clubs to feature their own world renown…. OK, area renown chefs. OH, did we mention that we will feature a special conference cocktail and an ice-cream social as part of the festivities? Plan to come to Houma on April 21 – 23 at the Marriott Courtyard in Houma and let us make the 2022 Rotary District Family Reunion one to remember.
